GET TO KNOW CANDACE

Candace Devaney is one of the most talented song stylists in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Candace possesses a richly textured four-octave vocal range which captures and exemplifies the essence of a musical idea, thus personifying it, breathing life and character into any song she performs. She is a seasoned, believable and enthusiastic performer, who invites her audience to take part in the worship experience. Candace has been performing since the age of 14, and her definitive vocal skills have been showcased through her performance of various genres of music to include: rhythm and blues, pop, jazz, positive impact music, and classic rock. She is originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, and specializes in vocal performance, songwriting and production.

She has performed at civic and community functions, private parties, restaurants and coffee shops, weddings and wedding receptions, corporate functions, and conferences. Candace is the featured vocalist for The Simply Put Band and does special performance features for Common Ground Band and the Soul Purpose Band from time to time. Candace has been a featured performer, guest speaker and workshop facilitator for various women’s retreats conferences. Candace released her debut CD titled “Journey” and Journey II is on its way with messages of love, light, life and truth!

Professionally, Candace has over 30 years in commercial mortgage banking and real estate experience and is owner and CEO of Veracity Asset Solutions, LLC. With a degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University and a certification in Executive Mentor Training, she also puts her experience and credentials to work as the co-owner of Inside-Out Construction, LLC and R3 Group, LLC. Candace has been married to Peter Devaney for more than 22 years and she has one daughter, London. In 2008, Peter and Candace  founded Proclaim, a non-profit community outreach. Proclaim partners with various outreach and non-profit organizations, as well as local municipalities to serve those who are underserved in our communities. Proclaim focuses on homelessness and individual/families in transitional housing through its Everyday Essentials Mission.
